Transportation in Stockholm

Stockholm has an excellent public transport system that makes getting around the city a breeze. You can use the metro, which has 100 stations and runs until 1 am, or buses that stop all over the city, some extending beyond the area covered by the metro. The metro is a convenient option, and you can also use the ferries that cover the archipelago's main locations, including the Djurgården and Hammarby Sjöstad islands. Renting a bike is also a great option, with many places to rent one throughout the city and a good network of bike paths and lanes to enjoy. However, I wouldn't recommend driving in Stockholm, as parking is hard to come by and it can be very busy. The efficient public transport system is usually a lot quicker and more convenient. You can also use the app to manage and pay for your tickets, and most cities have an app you can download to do so.
